Cairo – Mubasher: The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Egypt has denied the accuracy of the news circulated on fake websites promoting for free Hajj and Umrah trips.

The embassy stressed that these websites have exploited different social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, and whatsapp, to defraud citizens, according to the embassy’s statement on Thursday.

The embassy added that these misleading websites as well as the offered trips are not linked to Saudi Arabia, confirming that the kingdom is not responsible for the websites’ false information or any fraud acts affecting the registered audience.
